Before Trading There Was Me
I wasn't living some perfect life before trading.
I had my own struggles, my own limitations, my own unhealthy cycles, and my own battles with myself.
There were things around me that made me feel stuck. Financial pressure was one of the realities I had to deal with. I was a student, and even continuing education and managing expenses wasn't always easy.
I eventually reached the point where I was a 12th-grade student dealing with expenses and trying to understand what I was actually going to do with my life.
I wasn't the guy with a perfect plan.
I wasn't someone sitting in a beautiful office with expensive equipment, a degree behind my name, and a team around me.
I was simply a young person trying to find a way forward.
And honestly, I was broken in ways that people couldn't always see.
I was introverted.
I didn't enjoy constantly being around people or attending every gathering.
I spent a lot of time inside my own head.
And later, trading would make me realize something I didn't understand about myself before:
Sometimes the biggest thing you have to learn is not the market. It's yourself.
